The Silktone Fuzz+ takes the classic Fuzz Face-style germanium fuzz circuit and adds a range of useful features that make it incredibly versatile. Built around two germanium transistors, it delivers everything from rich, vintage fuzz tones to gated, aggressive textures, along with cleaner boost and light overdrive sounds.
The Fuzz+ features dedicated bass and treble shaping controls, a smoother Cleanup control, and a second footswitch that engages RAW mode, bypassing the tone controls and Cleanup circuit for a more direct, full-on fuzz sound. The increased output level also makes it great for pushing an amp harder or using it as a colorful germanium boost.
Additional features include an adjustable bias control with an LED bias meter for dialing in everything from tight, gated fuzz to thick, saturated tones. An onboard pickup simulator allows the pedal to be placed anywhere in your signal chain without the typical impedance issues associated with vintage-style fuzz circuits.
The updated power supply accepts standard 9V center-negative power and can be daisy-chained with other pedals, eliminating the need for an isolated power supply.
