Modeled after her prized 1943 D-18, this instrument captures the power, clarity, and responsiveness that define great vintage Martins.
Crafted with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this D-18 delivers a strong fundamental with rich overtones and excellent headroom—ideal for flatpicking, bluegrass, and beyond. The Golden Era rearward-shifted scalloped X-bracing enhances projection and low-end warmth, while the 25.4” scale length provides excellent string tension and articulation.
The neck features a comfortable 1941-style profile paired with a player-friendly 1-11/16” nut width—perfect for fast, accurate picking. Unique aesthetic touches include custom Moon Phase fretboard inlays, a silver Martin headstock logo, and a gloss Vintage Sunburst finish that gives this model a refined, stage-ready presence.
