Collings OM2H – Sunburst
This Collings OM2H is an exceptional example and is in excellent condition. Light superficial surface scratches from normal handling may be present but are too minor to properly capture in photos. Nothing detracts from the overall condition or presentation of this guitar. Includes original Collings hardshell case and paperwork.
The figured tonewoods on this particular example are absolutely stunning. The grain throughout the body and neck is beautiful, and the natural striping in the headstock veneer gives this guitar a unique character that really sets it apart.
The Collings OM is one of the most versatile acoustic designs around. Its compact body and relatively shallow depth make it incredibly comfortable to play, while the OM's quick response and balanced voice work equally well for fingerstyle, flatpicking, accompanying vocals, or full-on strumming. The Collings Standard Series delivers the classic Collings voice—shimmery highs, punchy mids, a tight low end, and plenty of headroom.
The OM2H pairs a Sitka spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides, giving it the warmth, depth, and clarity you'd expect from a high-end Collings. The Modified V neck profile and 1 11/16" nut width feel substantial without being cumbersome, and the 14"–26" compound fingerboard radius makes for a very comfortable playing experience.
