The Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe is a sophisticated evolution of the classic double-O design, pairing vintage-inspired tone with high-end modern upgrades. Built with a torrefied spruce top using Martin’s Vintage Tone System® (VTS), this guitar delivers the warmth, responsiveness, and openness of a well-aged instrument right out of the case.
Forward-shifted Golden Era–style Adirondack spruce bracing, combined with traditional dovetail neck construction and protein glue, produces exceptional resonance, clarity, and dynamic range. The addition of a lightweight carbon fiber bridge plate and Liquidmetal® bridge pins enhances sustain, volume, and note definition without adding weight.
Tonally, the 00 body size offers outstanding balance with focused mids, crisp articulation, and a controlled low end—making it an ideal choice for fingerstyle players while still responding beautifully to light strumming.
