1989 Fender HLE Limited Edition '57 Reissue Stratocaster in Metallic Gold
Produced in 1989 as part of an extremely exclusive run of 500 instruments worldwide. Serial number 482 of 500
The HLE Stratocaster is based on the 1957 Stratocaster reissue platform, executed with exceptional attention to vintage-correct detail while introducing a striking Metallic Gold finish unique to this series. The neck thickness is .86″ at the first and .99″ at the 12th fret. Other features included gold hardware, matching gold Fender vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut, a Fender vintage-style 6-screw synchronized tremolo bridge and white top hat knobs with an anodized gold pickguard.
The guitar is loaded with its original set of Fender Custom Shop Staggered Pole Single Coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume knob, 2 tone knobs and a 3-way blade switch with its original pots.
The guitar is in excellent condition. No visual blemishes to note outside of superficial surface scratches. Electronics work as expected and sound great! Includes original Fender Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity and case candy.
