1991 Fender Stratocaster Model ST500-VR in Metallic Green
The 1991 Fender Stratocaster model ST-500VR was made at the famed Fujigen factory. This early model Fender Japan Stratocaster is a unique and rare model, taking the '62 Strat platform and modernizing it with a 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard and Gotoh tuning machines.
The maple neck has a slender C-shaped, '60s style profile carve with modest shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges. The slab rosewood fretboard is absolutely beautiful and dark. The headstock has Fender's classic Pre-CBS shape and vintage-spec "spaghetti" logo. The "Made in Japan" text and K-prefix serial is present just above the four-bolt, Fender-embossed neck plate.
The guitar is in very good condition. Few blemishes on the front and back of the body of the guitar and finish check in the neck pocket. Overall great condition for an early 90’s guitar! All of the electronics work as intended and sound great. Comes with Fender Gig Bag
