Fender Custom Shop ‘63 Reissue Korina Stratocaster – Natural Oil
This Fender Custom Shop 1963 Korina Stratocaster is in excellent condition with no significant blemishes to note. Light superficial surface scratches may be present but do not properly show up in photos. Electronics work as expected and sound incredible. This is an extremely resonant guitar that is a ton of fun to play. Includes the original Fender Custom Shop hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, Shop Floor Traveler, and case candy shown, including backplate (plastic backplate has crack in one of screw holes)
The 1963 Korina Stratocaster is a rare Custom Shop model inspired by an extremely uncommon batch of Korina-bodied Strats from the early 1960s. The Natural finish really lets the character of the Korina show through, giving this Strat a look that is quite a bit different from the typical Fender Custom Shop offerings.
The neck has a comfortable ’60s Oval “C” profile with a matching oil finish and a beautiful rosewood fingerboard. A trio of Fender Custom Shop ’63 Strat pickups delivers the classic Strat sound, with plenty of clarity, snap, and character. Combined with the naturally resonant Korina body, this guitar has a great combination of vintage-inspired feel and tone.
