2023 Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue Ultra Light Aged - Bourbon Burst
Beautiful Custom Shop ‘58 Reissue. The 1958 features all of the painstaking historic construction methods of the famous '59 Reissues with a few historically-accurate spec differences that allow it to stand on its own.
This guitar features a round, chunky neck profile for a full feel and maximum bending leverage. It has a beautiful plain maple top and beautiful wood grain on the back and sides. It also features Ultra Light Aging by the Gibson Murphy Lab. Other features include a pair of Custombucker Humbuckers, ABR-1 Adjustable Bridge with Lightweight Aluminum Stopbar and Kluston tuners.
The guitar is in excellent condition. The rosewood board is one of the darkest i’ve seen come out of the Gibson factory! No visual blemishes outside of the work done by the Murphy Lab. Aging on this particular example consists of various area of checking throughout body and small dings on the front back and headstock. The Murphy Lab work was done extremely well on this one. Electronics work as expected and sound great!
