2024 Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood Spec 1957 Les Paul Standard in Ebony Gloss
The Wildwood Spec guitars are created to rise above the others. Every inch of the guitar is specifically chosen to create the perfect guitar. They start with choosing the best quality tonewoods--warm, round-sounding mahogany and crisp, clear maple, and a sweet-sounding rosewood fretboard. The rosewood board on this particular example is absolutely beautiful
Once they pick out some good-sounding wood, the master luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop attach everything together using hot hide glue. When you plug it in, you’ll instantly know why the Wildwood Spec Les Paul shines. These guitars are equipped with Wildwood Spec Custom Shop humbuckers that seem to capture all of our favorite parts of old pickups. Warm, woody low end, raspy, punchy midrange, and sweet, singing high end.
The guitar is absolutely stunning. The Ebony gloss top is beautiful and the wood grain of the hand selected body is gorgeous. This particular example is quite light at 8.3lbs.
The guitar is in excellent condition. No blemishes to note anywhere on the guitar. Electronics work as expected and sound incredible! Includes original Gibson Custom Shop Hardshell case with Wildwood SPEC badge, Certificate of Authenticity and all paperwork.
