The guitar features a mahogany body, pattern thin mahogany neck and a beautiful high gloss nitro finish. In 2024, PRS updated the S2 line to include the great USA made 58/15 LT pickups that you normally only find on the core models. PRS also upgrades to the Vintage-Style Non-Locking with “Wing” Buttons on the S2 line.
This McCarty 594 Thinline is in excellent condition with no visual blemishes to note. It's an absolute joy to play. The electronics work as expected and the Two Push/Pull Tone Controls with 3-Way Toggle Pickup Switch make this guitar incredibly versatile. The pickups on this guitar sound amazing!
