2025 Fender Custom Shop GT11 Deluxe Stratocaster Heavy Relic – Daphne Blue
This 2025 Fender Custom Shop GT11 Deluxe Stratocaster is an exceptional example of a modern Custom Shop Strat, combining vintage-inspired aesthetics with high-performance appointments. Finished in Daphne Blue with Fender’s Heavy Relic treatment, this guitar has the look and feel of a beautifully aged instrument while offering modern playability and performance.
This guitar is in excellent condition with no visual blemishes outside of the incredible factory relic work. The electronics work as expected and sound fantastic. Includes the original Fender Custom Shop hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, Shop Floor Traveller, and all case candy.
The GT11 Deluxe is built around a roasted alder body and an AAA roasted flame maple neck, giving this Strat an incredible combination of resonance, stability, and visual appeal. The '60s-style Oval C neck profile feels exceptionally comfortable, while the 11" radius fingerboard provides a perfect balance between vintage familiarity and modern playability.
One of the standout features is the trio of hand-wound Sweet '64 pickups, designed by Mike Lewis specifically for the GT11. These pickups deliver a remarkably balanced Strat voice with fat, round lows, sparkling highs, articulate mids, and exceptional note separation. They have enough vintage character to sound right at home through a clean amp, while retaining the clarity and punch to handle overdrive and higher-gain setups.
The Blender tone control adds even more versatility by allowing the neck pickup to be blended into positions 1 and 2. The reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup also provides hum-canceling operation in positions 2 and 4.
The RSD Custom Shop floating tremolo features slightly narrower string spacing than a traditional vintage Strat trem, giving the guitar a more contemporary feel while maintaining the classic Fender aesthetic. Locking tuners, stainless steel frets, and Luminlay side dots add modern performance upgrades without compromising the character of the instrument.
