This 2025 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Heavy Relic ’51 Nocaster is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender guitars produced between the winter and summer of 1951. These models were lovingly named "Nocasters" by their fans, due to their lack of an official name. Boasting a slew of period-correct appointments and a spankin' pair of ’50-51 Blackguard pickups, this guitar is perfect for musicians who have always wanted to experience a '51 Nocaster without paying the vintage markup.
Finished in a beautiful Aged Cherry Sunburst, this guitar features a highly figured ash body, a ’51 Nocaster maple Neck with Nocaster “U” neck shape and 9.5-inch radius fingerboard.
The real highlight is the set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound ’50-51 Blackguard pickups. Almost immediately you will notice are much more responsive than your average Telecaster. They are clear and extremely balanced.
The highly figured ash body is paired with a beautiful vintage inspired maple neck and a thin ’50s-style nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The lightweight, resonant construction and thin finish allow the instrument to respond naturally and give it the lively acoustic character you'd expect from a great Custom Shop Fender.
