2025 PRS Special Semi-Hollow 10-Top in Purple Mist
This guitar is in great condition. As expected with a 10-Top PRS, the flaming is absolutely stunning. The Purple Mist finish adds a very cool flavor to this guitar. Electronics work as expected and sound incredible. New McCarty III humbuckers have a great vintage sound. Few small dings on headstock and 1 small ding near neck pocket. None of these blemishes can be properly photographed. Includes original PRS hardshell case, hang tag, tremolo bar and paperwork.
The PRS Special Semi-Hollow offers players a versatile hum/”single”/hum configuration with two PRS McCarty III humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup.
PRS McCarty III pickups are vintage-inspired humbuckers that bring a vocal clarity to their full, warm tone. PRS Narrowfield pickup in the middle position delivers the bite of a single coil, so it cuts through the mix with plenty of clarity and punch – but without the hum.
Paired with a 5-way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the McCarty III humbuckers, this guitar can handle myriad sounds and styles (with twelve pickup combinations in total). Roll back the tone control for added growl, turn it up for some shimmer, and have fun exploring this versatile tonal palette. The volume level between the humbucking and single-coil settings remains very even, and the semi-hollow body with single f-hole provides a welcome airiness and depth to the guitar’s tone.
