Includes the original Gibson Lifton hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and all paperwork.
Part of a very limited Gibson Custom M2M run , this ’57 Les Paul Standard combines the classic construction and feel of a late-’50s Les Paul with a very unique twist. The Gold Sparkle top is absolutely stunning, and the VOS nitrocellulose finish gives it just the right amount of vintage character.
The traditional recipe is all here: mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck with a chunky ’50s profile, rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius, narrow/tall frets, nylon nut, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. There is no weight relief, giving you the full resonance and sustain you'd expect from a proper Custom Shop ’50s Les Paul.
What really sets this guitar apart are the TV Jones Power’Tron humbuckers. They bring some of the character of a Filter’Tron while retaining the fullness, output, and punch you'd expect from a Les Paul. The result is a sound that's articulate, dynamic, and incredibly versatile—equally at home with clean tones, blues, classic rock, and higher-gain applications.
