This 2026 Springfield in Inverness Green is a perfect example of the brand’s craftsmanship. It features a lightweight alder body finished in a beautifully relic’d Sherwood Green nitrocellulose lacquer. The 10” radius maple neck sports a comfortable .850” “C” profile and is topped with a rosewood fretboard for a smooth, familiar feel. Under the hood, a set of hand-wound K-Line Custom ’64 pickups delivers classic sparkle, warmth, and articulate vintage tone.
K-Line Guitars—personally one of our favorite builders—is a USA-made brand based in St. Louis, Missouri. Each instrument is hand-built by Chris Kroenlein (the “K” behind K-Line) and his small team of skilled craftsmen. Using hand-selected woods, premium hardware, and K-Line’s own hand-wound pickups, these guitars deliver exceptional tone, feel, and vintage-correct aesthetics—often rivaling Custom Shop instruments at a fraction of the price.
