Finished in VOS Sixties Cherry, the nitrocellulose lacquer has a soft, lightly aged patina that feels broken-in yet beautifully preserved. Condition is excellent, with only minimal blemishes. Otherwise exceptionally clean. Tonally, this instrument delivers everything a great ’64 335 should—complex midrange bloom, airy resonance from the semi-hollow construction, articulate highs, and smooth, vocal sustain.
