Fender American Professional II GT11 Stratocaster, Rosewood Fingerboard in Olympic White
The Fender American Professional II GT11 is a model made exclusively for Sweetwater Music. Previously limited to Fender’s Custom Shop offerings, the GT11 (Grand Touring) begins with a standard setup of a lightweight alder body, ’60s oval C maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. Sweetwater then got their hands on the design to add an upgraded 6-point tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block to the string-tree-less headstock and an 11-inch fingerboard radius.
The American Professional II GT11 Stratocaster is loaded with a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat ’60s pickups to capture the warm lows, rich midrange, and mellow highs made famous by iconic blues and rock guitarists from the early 1960s.
This guitar is in excellent condition. Very few light superficial surface blemishes can be found, but cannot be captured in photos. Electronics work as expected and sound great! This model is a ton of fun to play. Sweetwater did a great job of keeping the foundation of the vintage Strat but adding some incredibly cool modern upgrades! Includes original hardshell case, leather Fender strap, tremolo bar and paperwork.
