Fender Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster – Chocolate Burst
This Fender Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster is in great condition with no visual blemishes to note outside of the beautiful factory Road Worn relic finish. The neck has been lightly sanded to match the feel of relic Custom Shop models. Electronics work as expected and sound great, and the custom Jason Isbell pickups sound incredible. Includes the original Fender gig bag and all paperwork.
Based on Jason Isbell’s Custom Shop Telecaster, this model combines vintage Fender character with a distinctive look and a tone built for everything from classic country twang to gritty, Muscle Shoals-inspired swamp rock.
The alder body features a gorgeous Chocolate Burst nitrocellulose lacquer finish, white double-bound edges, and a black-white-black pickguard. The custom-voiced single-coil pickups deliver plenty of clarity, bite, and attitude, with the responsiveness to go from articulate clean tones to gritty overdrive.
The mid-'60s C-shaped maple neck has a comfortable, substantial feel, paired with a 7.25-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 vintage-tall frets. Additional features include a modified brass-saddle Telecaster bridge, vintage-style tuners, and a neck plate featuring Jason Isbell’s anchor and sparrow tattoo design.
