The SG Standard Historic Reissue stays true to the specs of this iconic instrument. Its distinct features and legendary tone are meticulously remade with all the precision and accuracy expected from Gibson Custom, including its solid mahogany body with twin cutaways, pointed horns, beveled edges and nickel-plated hardware, including the Maestro vibrato with Lyre-engraved tailpiece plate.
Other standard appointments include its cellulose trapezoid fingerboard inlays, Authentic ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, Solid mahogany neck with long neck tenon and rosewood fingerboard and Burstbucker pickups with three-way toggle switch.
This guitar is in very good condition. Small dings and scratches can be found, but none properly show up in photos. No cracks or heavy dings anywhere to be seen. The VOS finish looks great and the neck has a smooth worn feel to it which makes the guitar an absolute joy to play. Electronics work as expected and sound great! Includes Original Gibson Custom Hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity and all paperwork.
