Offered here is a standout 2017 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard “Class 5” built through Gibson’s Made to Measure program and hand-selected in Nashville. This example features a premium, highly figured flame maple top in a striking Purple Fade finish—visually bold and truly one-of-a-kind.
The Class 5 series represents a refined balance of modern performance and vintage-correct construction. With its chambered mahogany body, long neck tenon, ABR-1 bridge, and slim ’60s neck profile, this guitar delivers exceptional resonance, comfort, and sustain while maintaining classic Les Paul feel and tone.
Currently loaded with DiMarzio BluesBucker and Air Norton pickups, offering a versatile range from articulate PAF-style tones to warmer, modern voicings. The tone control has been modified with a coil-split function (active from 9–10), adding extra tonal flexibility. Original Gibson pickups and wiring harness are included.
The guitar is in excellent condition. Professionally set up and playing great. The neck is fast and comfortable, paired with a nicely grained rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets showing minimal wear. Includes original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and all paperwork.
