Finished in a breathtaking VOS Cobra Burst over beautifully figured maple, this ES-355 is every bit as impressive in person as it is on paper. The pair of unpotted Alnico 3 Custombuckers produce warm, articulate vintage-style tones with exceptional clarity and dynamic response, while the mono Varitone circuit expands the sonic palette even further. Paired with the Bigsby B7 vibrato, this guitar effortlessly covers everything from smooth blues and soulful cleans to rich overdriven textures.
This guitar is in excellent condition and was only removed from the box for inspection, testing, and professional photography. Small pencil tip indent in finish on lower front. There are no notable cosmetic blemishes to mention. The electronics function flawlessly and the instrument plays and sounds incredible.
Includes the original Gibson Custom Shop brown hardshell case with black plush interior and custom Gary Clark Jr. graphics, Certificate of Authenticity, all original case candy, and the original Gibson shipping carton.
