Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood SPEC 1958 Les Paul Standard
Wildwood Guitars are known to source the best woods for their Custom Shop Les Pauls and this is no exception. The wood grain on this example is absolutely stunning. As expected, the Wildwood SPEC Custombuckers sound incredible. This Les Paul is an absolute beast and true joy to play!
A Gibson Custom Shop '58 Wildwood Spec is a historically accurate Les Paul model created in collaboration with Wildwood Guitars, featuring proprietary Wildwood SPEC Custombucker pickups and a 2-piece plain maple top with hot hide glue, a non-relieved mahogany body, and a chunky '50s-style mahogany neck. Other features include a beautiful rosewood fretboard with hide glue fit, Nickel-plated ABR-1 bridge with lightweight aluminum stopbar and Kluston tuners.
The guitar is in excellent condition with no visual blemishes to note. Light superficial scratches and smudges can be seen throughout the guitar which align with VOS finish. Some stain bleed into the binding which is common with Custom Shop Gibson. Electronics work as expected and sound absolutely wonderful. Includes original Gibson Custom Shop Lifton Case with Wildwood badge, Certificate of Authenticity, extra pickguard and poker chip and paperwork.
