Fresh from the Gibson Demo Shop, this Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s Faded is in excellent condition with no significant blemishes to note. Light superficial surface scratches may be found on the guitar, but do not show up in photos. The electronics work as expected and sound great. Includes the original Gibson hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, pickguard and pictured case candy.. Weight 8lbs 13oz
Featuring a beautiful AA figured maple top in Vintage Bourbon Burst, this Les Paul pairs classic looks with the familiar feel and sound of a ’60s-style Standard. The solid mahogany body delivers the warmth and sustain Les Pauls are known for, while the satin nitrocellulose finish gives the guitar a more understated, vintage-inspired look and feel. Nickel-covered ’60s BurstBucker pickups complete the classic aesthetic.
The ’60s BurstBuckers deliver vintage PAF-inspired tones with a rich midrange, smooth highs, and plenty of punch when pushed into overdrive. A handwired control assembly with Orange Drop capacitors helps preserve that classic voice, while the SlimTaper mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard offer comfortable, fast-playing feel. Additional appointments include a TUSQ nut, Grover tuners, and traditional Les Paul hardware.
