Lockhorn Zinger – Aged Firemist Silver

Handcrafted in Chicago, Lockhorn Instruments draws inspiration from the iconic guitars built in the city during the 1950s and '60s. This Zinger features the F-hole styling typically associated with Lockhorn's Zipper model, giving it a distinctive look that sets it apart.

There's also a little extra history behind this particular guitar: it was the first Zinger built without a pickguard. Lockhorn custom designed the pickup rings featured on this instrument, making it an especially unique and distinctive example.

The mahogany body and neck are paired with an alder top, finished in Aged Firemist Silver. Double body binding and a bound neck add to the attention to detail, while a pair of Lollar El Rayo humbuckers delivers a powerful and versatile voice. The five-position rotary selector provides additional tonal flexibility, including coil-split sounds in positions two and four.

This Lockhorn Zinger is in excellent condition with no visual blemishes to note. Light superficial surface scratches may be present but are difficult to capture in photos. Electronics work as expected and sound great! This boutique builder creates an absolutely incredible guitar. The Zinger is extremely resonant and full sounding. As usual, the Lollar pickups are an absolute treat! Includes a premium gig bag.
