Designed in collaboration with Herman Li, the Chleo blends cutting-edge performance features with unmistakable PRS craftsmanship. Named after Li’s children, this signature model was built for modern players demanding speed, precision, tonal versatility, and uncompromising stability.
Finished in the stunning Orchid Dusk gloss, this particular example features a gorgeous PRS 10-Top figured maple cap over a lightweight mahogany body. While visually striking, the Chleo is purpose-built for performance, featuring an ultra-thin body profile that keeps the guitar incredibly comfortable for long sessions and high-energy stage work.
The specially engineered maple neck is exceptionally fast and ergonomic, with a thin front-to-back carve, taller fret surface, and ultra-flat 20” fretboard radius for effortless technical playing. PRS also redesigned the neck joint and lower horn carve for unrestricted upper fret access, while the final four scalloped frets allow for expressive bends and articulate lead work. Glow-in-the-dark side dots ensure visibility on even the darkest stages.
The ebony fretboard is adorned with PRS’s exclusive “Eclipse Dragon” inlays, giving the Chleo a visual identity unlike anything else in the PRS lineup.
Tonally, the guitar is powered by Herman Li’s Signature Fishman Fluence Omniforce pickup system. Utilizing advanced multi-voice Fluence technology, the Chleo delivers up to 13 unique tonal combinations ranging from crushing high-gain rhythm tones and fluid lead sounds to crisp single-coil textures and articulate cleans — all with exceptional clarity and virtually no noise.
The performance-oriented electronics layout allows for fast, intuitive tonal changes mid-performance, making the Chleo equally at home through tube amps, modelers, plugins, or modern recording setups.
