Developed with Mammoth guitarist Jonathan Jourdan, this model takes a very different approach to the typical PRS formula. It’s built around a solid mahogany body, a single aggressive bridge humbucker, and one volume control — with no neck pickup, tone control, or pickup selector. The volume control is intentionally positioned away from the picking hand, allowing Jourdan to play aggressively without accidentally changing the volume.
The all-mahogany construction is paired with PRS's sculpted violin top carve, a one-piece mahogany Pattern Regular neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The 25" scale and 10" radius retain the familiar PRS feel, while the completely inlay-free fingerboard and luminous side dots give the guitar an understated, purpose-built look.
The electronics are equally straightforward. A single PRS Metal bridge humbucker delivers the high output, aggression, and articulation this guitar was designed for, making it particularly well suited to hard rock, alternative, and modern metal. With nothing unnecessary between the player and the amp, the result is an extremely direct and focused instrument.
